“art deco”(25 reviews)
Beautiful mosaic ceilings and floors, paintings and sculptures inside the 400-foot high capitol building are as impressive as its marble, bronze and gold leaf exterior and white tower topped by a bronze statue. Free guided tours are available.

It cost the government of Nebraska less than one half the cost of Iowa to run their government. A single house or senate would cost taxpayer a lot less to run the government. The U.S government should have single senate .

We had a great tour of the Nebraska State Capitiol led by a guide who seemed to take a lot of pride on the building. He did a great job and made it really interesting.
