Beautiful building. Modest sized exhibit space. The exhibits were good. I walked around the sculpture garden and unless I missed some, an hour is enough to see inside and the garden if you are short on time as I was. They also have a gift...More

Image a museum that has a superb Hopper and decides NOT to show it! They had not one single famous artist on show when we were there, except for one Warhol. Very small by the way

The Sheldon Museum of Art is truly a find! The building itself is lovely. The grounds are wonderful - - don't forget to go outside, in back of the building, or you won't have the whole experience.

We visited on a very slow day during Spring Break. Parking nearby is by meter, and you've got to have a credit card or change handy. The people on duty were attentive and well informed, and they were obviously proud of what they had, too....More
