We looked up this place on the internet and headed out. And what a pleasant surprise it was. Oh, I could spend hours here sitting and sipping on their amazing beers. Very highly recommended.

On the way to our accommodation we saw a sign to Lions River Brewery, it was off the beaten track a bit. When we go there, wow, it certainly was worth the short drive. A beautiful, quaint little place. Live band and craft beer. We were able to look where they made the local craft beer. And it did not dissapoint. It is worth a visit if you are in the area.

The venue is quirky in that the building has rusty roof sheeting and the main sign has also been allowed to rust.
Tried four different beers. The first was a taster of Braggart, a "big beer" with 1er2% alcohol and smoky, caramel. Then a Vienna that was easy drinking and quite to my taste. Followed by an American Brown Ale. Interesting and full bodied. Finally a Porter: delicious 😁 The best of the day.
Well worth a visit if you like European, particularly German, type beer.
