I accompanied my husband and our two kids to this museum. My husband is interested in WW2 so he was in his element. It was well presented and had enough information that I enjoyed it as well. There was lots of information in English for...More

Don't be confused by its name, there are many forms of military transport kit on show here (cars, APCs, eponymous tanks and even some aircraft). The museum seems a bit new and is therefore still findings its feet - the explanation boards are very long...More

This is a new and exciting museum that just opened in May of 2017. It is very different from most of the older established museums in the area. Firstly it is situated on an old Normandy airfield. I love that they keep that brief moment...More

This attraction entry should be removed as this museum doesn't exist any more. The new Normandy Victory Museum has opened as a completely different museum on the site with completely new displays. That is a 5 star review attraction.

Very nice museum. My 13 years old son liked it a lot. It is very interesting. There are a lot of objects and some of them can be manipulated.

My brother and I had the opportunity to visit the Normandy Tank Museum and found it truly fascinating. There are so many vehicles presented, that they appear to be cramped inside a space that is too small to house them. Plan to spend at least...More

Re-visited here guiding a group of motorcyclists touring WW2 sites in Normandy. After bragging it up to them we arrived to find it was shut. There was actually no sign it had ever been there in the first place!!

This place had some amazing pieces of history. It is very unfortunate they had to close their doors. I understand the revenue was not enough to support the museum from the day it opened in 2013.

When you have an empty local and a good bunch of war tanks, you may put them all together, open a museum and keep it in the same way for many many years. No paying attention to new ways of exhibit the artefacts or to...More
