Montana's Big Sky country is all about the view. Like Arizona's Grand Canyon and Monument Valley. Or California's Yosemite. Or Wyoming's Yellowstone. Or Utah's Bryce Canyon or Zion. There is so much to see in Montana, even beyond Glacier National Park. For example, it's worth...More

We went to the visitor's center and a short hike. Since we only wanted to spend about two hours doing something the day we arrived in Kalispell, this was perfect. We got to learn about the area, get some exercise and see some gorgeous scenery....More

A must visit while in Kalispell. Great trails and super visitor center. Take the time attend one of the many staff presentations to learn about the park and local wildlife.

The visitors center was nice and had great information. We chose to only do a short trek up the hill to see the views, but the trails meander through the hillside.

We were there over labor day weekend. The ranger/manger was incredibly helpful and informative and gave us suggestions for the type of hike we were looking for. Fabulous views from the overlook trail of the Flathead River Valley.

I only saw small animals during my visit but, it's always a good idea to carry bear spray and be aware just in case.
