This was a fun and beautiful hike. The drive to trailhead was lovely. Expect to hit a dirt road after crossing the lake. The trailhead was easy to find. Well marked trail to the falls. Easy hike. Takes less than an hour.

The drive through Hyalite Canyon is beautiful and remarkably free of traffic, despite the popularity of the place. This was September so maybe summer travelers are gone? Grotto Falls is lovely and an easy 1 mile walk from parking.

Great, well marked trail for locals or visitors. Easy hike with a happy ending at the falls! Picnic tables for lunch or a break and to enjoy the view! Took some visitors not accustom to altitude and they did mot have any issues.

This flat trail leads to a low, pretty waterfall. Most children will be able to do this hike. You can go further on the trail toward Hyalite Lake and see even more Falls.

Great easy hike, beautiful scenery, only about 1.5 miles each way. I love waterfalls so I couldn't pass this up, it's a nice drive into the park ( Gallatin National Forest) then a short hike to the falls. I went early so there were not...More

Beautiful day hiking in Hyalite Canyon and the Grotto Falls trails is only 1 1/2 miles each way, so it is perfect for families. If you want to go farther, you can continue to Arch Falls or all the way to Hyalite Peak (8 1/2...More
