On the Pittwater, this is a nice, quiet beach for families, or for those wanting to enjoy Stand Up Paddleboarding or kayaking. Parking is available (very expensive $10 per hour), or free up on the street if you're lucky.

When I found this quiet, protected beach off Delecta Avenue, I felt sorry, that I don’t have small grandchildren anymore. When God designed this place, he apparently was thinking about children. The velvety sand, the calm water, the shade of the protecting trees, all make...More

Came here with my two teen kids who are not used to the surfing beaches. Loved it and spent a couple of hours swimming in the warm water. Well worth a visit. Car parking is $6/hr or $25 for the whole day. There is a...More

Quaint small beach Tricky to find without a map or GPS. Parking is an absolute nightmare and it is normally almost impossible to find a parking spot. The very small coin operated carpark is often full on sunny days, with no real parking on side...More

A beautiful safe beach on the Pittwater side of the Northern Beaches. Difficult to find and used mostly by locals because of that and parking is expensive; 4 dollars an hour at all times. Facilities are good with free BBQ's and picnic tables in the...More

Anywhere on the northern beaches is stunning. Clareville beach on the Pittwater side is unique, with access to boats out front of the homes there it seems the perfect place to live. Picnics I highly recommend if you want to completely chill out and enjoy...More

We came here mainly to try out the Stand Up paddle boarding, the beach is lovely, clean and calm, plenty of shallow water for a swim, amenities are good - there are large picnic tables, grassed areas, clean change rooms/toilet and outdoor shower. Great for...More

Clareville Beach is a good local place and many locals have barbecues on the beach at sunset. There is no pool but it is a beautiful beach and being on the inside of Pittwater, it does not get surf so the water is calm. The...More

This beach is on the Pittwater side of Avalon so therefore there is no swell, so surfers dont even venture. This beach is suited for young kids as they can paddle on the edge of the water. The area has BBQ's and is ideal for...More
