The architecture is second only to the outstanding acoustics of the music hall. Really first rate venue and should attract top performers.

I really needed to give the Kauffman Center only one star because for a brand newly designed building the Architects should have been able to accommodate significantly better seating if they were not trying to crowd the capacity of these auditoriums. I mean I rate...More

I've attended several Lyric Opera events here. You feel like you are in a whole new world whether it's day or evening--the way the glass windows show off the surrounding area and the expansive feel of the huge lobby. Beautiful!

The Kauffman has two main theaters, and both of them are gorgeous, but what is really wonderful is the huge glass view of downtown KC, especially at night! They have performances pretty much nightly, so you'll have plenty of different options to choose from.

This is one of the places I always tell out-of-town friends they should visit. The architecture is beautiful, and the sound in all of the event halls is outstanding. I always include a Christmas Symphony performance in my holiday plans-not a bad seat in the...More

This place has the best acoustics of all the musical venues I´ve ever visited. There truly is not a bad seat in the house. Plus, they draw some of the best visiting talent in the U.S. and beyond. I highly recommend visiting, because you will...More

I have purchased season tickets for the symphony just because this building is so amazing! Besides being beautiful, the acoustics are incredible! You can be sitting in the back and feel like you are sitting right next to the musician. Both halls are absolutely perfect...More

My Bride and I saw Ben Folds and the KC Symphony on 9/25/18 and were blown away. Neither of us have ever been to an orchestra/symphony/opera and we were astounded by the experience. Of course, Ben Folds is not your typical experience when going to...More

Great building. Worth a drive by even if you don't go to a show. Love to drive under the cables and look up at the glass

I would strongly recommend it. Parking is limited and you could pay at time of parking if spaces are available, but pre-paying by buying on-line is your best bet. You could also do street parking but i would not recommend it
