UNION STATION is one beautiful place to visit. This Station must of been really something in its day. A lot to do here from restaurants to a lot of places to bring children.

Came to town via Amtrak (Chicago) then out the next day to St. Louis. Very nice interior with lots of exhibits to view while you wait.

Union Station is one of the most beautiful buildings in Kansas City and our family favorite. It is perfect for young families, families with teens or just couples. Science City and the train museum are fabulous. The laser shows and other shows in the planetarium...More

Union Station houses many entities - including the Kansas City Board of Elections. I was there the other day - and it was literally an in and out event! Easy to locate and the service of the Election Board (call ahead for what you want)...More

I thought this would be a fun thing to do with my boyfriend on a cold and rainy day. Unfortunately, this isn’t a real planetarium but based on a streamed software program which continually stopped working. It wasn’t cheap and although they offered another visit,...More

If you have kiddos who have an interest in dinosaurs 🦕🦖 then you simply must take them to Union Station when the Dinosaurs exhibit is running. In addition to the short and informative presentation that puts you into the mode of thinking prehistoric - you’ll...More

Remember 'Brownsville Station', one of my very favourite 1970s blues bands, and their ‘hit’ ‘Smoking in the Boys’ Room’? No of course you don’t – but Google it. Anyway, Union Station in Kansas City - no relation - was the main railway station for Kansas...More

I’m not sure if there’s free parking or not. We parked in the parking garage and paid $10 but it was good for all day! Didn’t have to worry about the time on parking meters and it was a secure location.

I am assuming the question is regarding the current exhibit at Union Station. Per Union Station, tickets to Pompeii exhibit are available through April 30th.
