A place of peace and memories, very well kept, like all the Commonwealth cemeteries in Greece we have been visiting with our guests to see the resting place of their relatives and friends lost in the grounds of our country

We went with Roger T and found it to be a very moving experience. It portrays death yet beauty in its surroundings and exudes an air of peace and tranquility. Very memorable like most British War Cemeteries.

Hi Thessaloniki is the nearest but a car is a must, about 2 hours drive from the airport, there is also a large memorial and another cemetry at Doiran about 40 mins farther on, both are well worth visiting
