Fabulous ride up the mountain and the views are spectacular as you have nearly a 365 degree view of the surrounding area. You can either have a quick trip up for the view or spend a few hours exploring the heights. On a good day...More

We travelled to the top on the gondola which is expensive if you don’t have a pass but worth it. The views are amazing, check out the restaurant, so worth the trip. The trip was very fast and very steep.

Thank you for your rating and your opinion. May I ask you when your visit was? I think something went terribly wrong with your ticketing, as the cost for a roundtrip ticket during wintertime (December to April) is only CHF 25.- and we do make...More

If you wish to reach Saentis summit in 4 hours, it is recommended to take a cable car from Wasserauen to Ebenalp. In summer you may spend 30-40 minutes in the queue, because a lot of people hike in Appenzell region. You pay 20 CHF...More
