The service is great, especially for those who live in areas like Leigh, Walkden, Astley. However, between 7.40am to 8.10am it is horrendously busy!! The V1 starts at Leigh bus station going towards Manchester, and by the time it gets to Holden Road NE, its...More

This is the best bus service by far in Greater Manchester. Over the past year it’s grown into a much loved icon. We don’t need a tram. Our busway is better.

Must be the least expensive way for getting into Manchester. 45 minute journey time, no parking and straight in city centre. Clean comfortable seating, free WiFi and charge sockets. Far and away better than unreliable and dirty train service.

I live local to the Busway and to my knowledge it has happened a couple of times. There appear to be pop up barriers at each junction so how these drivers manage it baffles me. An unexpected bonus is the pathway alongside... More

Hi Yes you can, definitely, and what's more the buses are frequent. Every 15 minutes up until quite late, as far as I am aware.
