What a great place! The pub has been in operation from 1845. Great food and drink. There are a few rooms that are very comfortable and priced reasonably. The owner is great! This has been my favorite stop in the U.K.

Dropped in to the local for the 2017 celebrations! There was a local band playing and quite lively. A great way to spend the evening!

Every two weeks about Ray has a music night. This is usually well attended and good fun. 3 or 4 real ales helps it go down well. Check facebook for events

Dropped in the Crown and Anchor for a beer and meal. Captured the walls on camera. Decorated with heroes in black and white photos.

Dropped in for a Friday meal in our favourite local pub. The new Chef is doing well and quite a few up market dishes. Cannelloni and Sea Bass for examples. A choice of 4 real ales usually. Fires lit for colder months now!
