Congratulations to Sydney Museums for the excellent museography and displays in this magnificent house. The garden is also splendid. Together with Elizabeth Bay house, Susanna’s Place and Rose Seidler house they offer a great overview of art and architecture in Sydney.

Best to catch bus number 325 from the city. The nearest ferry stop is Watsons Bay, but that is a 30 minute walk away.

Hi Margaret, the tours are run by volunteers so unsure of the time. Best to go to their website and contact them directly. You have to pay an entry fee.
