These huge Live Oaks are impressive. They do show scars from all the years & storms. A Live Oak likes to grow large & then grow its graceful branches to the ground. They are wonderful shade trees & a staple in The South.

Great Ok, if I remember correctly, is the oak tree, with “the ring,” which has stood on the site of The Church of the Redeemer, now gone, post-K. So, an attraction.
