It was just my husband and I that stopped. We decided against going through the grounds and buildings because it appeared to be less authenticated. I visited the gift shop and found two books to purchase from recommendation of the curator. They were good choices....More

The Laura Ingalls Wilder museum was a great family adventure. The gift shop had a very nice selection and the museum was great because it showed so much about Laura’s life and even more about the tv show.

I'm sad to write a bad review, as I'm sure the people who work there do so with the best of intentions, and were all very nice. However. This is basically a glorified gift shop. The reviews here and the website are very very misleading...More
