The Freed Man is a comfy and relaxed Micro Pub in Walmer. Reclaimed wood clads the walls and many salvaged items from our nearby beach can be found throughout. We serve a great and ever changing selection of ales, wine, some cider and even a few spirits! We are lucky enough to have charming and friendly local clientele. Please visit us and make yourselves at home!

Went here for the first time and what a lovely little quirky pub full of character and charm. The staff were warm and welcoming and the drinks were reasonably priced.

A superb micro-pub. A warm welcome as you come in, efficient and helpful staff. A good choice of well kept ales. Will make it a regular haunt.

Nice micro pub - albeit one unfortunately with a bar. Decent selection of beers, nice decor, range of board games available. Good peanuts from the jar too. Liked the place a lot.
