I brought my in-laws and my daughter to see The Cat in the Hat. There was some construction outside, so it was hard to get to. We parked a block away near the bowling ally and just walked in.There is parking next door to the...More
Everything had been great at the old address, but the move to the NorShor has not been a pleasant move. Walking from the parking lot Handicap Parking is a long distance and it took over 45 minutes to get out after the show. We always...More
When planning our trip to Duluth we noticed the Duluth Playhouse production of La Cage Aux Folles. We stepped out of our normal comfort zone, an found a True Gem. A beautiful theater, in a historic location. The cast and production was amazing !

A great short visit to 'The Underground' to see the 12th Annual Short Film Festival. The theatre was small and sold out though it was a good busy atmosphere for the type of event. First time at such an event and it was worth the...More

My wife and I came here to see "It Runs in the Family". The theatre is smaller than I thought it would be, but as we were dead center in the second row, that didn't really matter. It definitely isn't a big theatre, but it's...More
Saw Rock of Ages, music, sets, and acting were all great. Set up of theatre is nice, lots of leg room. Tickets were reasonable ($30). This play was not appropriate for kids but I would definitely take my kids here to a different one.More

Hi there! Have you seen a show at the Playhouse before? As for being too close, it sometimes depends on the show and personal preference of each patron. The third row is a great place to take in the show...not too close, but not too far back either. There isn't a bad seat in our house, so we know wherever you choose to sit, you'll have a great view of the show.
