the dam is not too big, but has great parks in both sides, in Coon Rapids and Brooklyn Park, plus you see the Mississippi River at a stage when is not a really big river.
You can use a bike and you can fish also.
We visit the Coon Rapids Dam Regional Park, if not everyday, most certainly multiple times throughout the week. We absolutely love it! There is a park for our little ones and people of space and area to grill out, lay out, or pass out lol....More
