We stopped here during our fall visit to PEI and this lighthouse is picturesque but was closed at the time bcs we were here in the late afternoon.....so instead we went down for a stroll along the beach, which was very enjoyable and lovely.

Sooo many crabs in the water it was unenjoyable. Could not walk without getting nipped at! Great for pictures on the beach with a lighthouse behind you but would not go back in the water my whole day there.

Rainy day but we went and checked out the lighthouse & beach. We were greeted with a pleasant smile & great personality (felt welcomed). There is an admission fee ($10) & it's a self tour. Very interesting & the stairs become steep. Worth the trip...More

Beautiful lighthouse but even better view outside - a total panoramic view of the water. I would spent at least an hour just taking it all in.

We stopped at the lighthouse on our tour of the northern end of PEI. It is one of the few you can actually go into and climb to the top. It has a series of increasingly steep stairs/ladders. Once at the top, though, the view...More

We stayed here one night in June 2018 and loved it! The room was clean and quiet, the waves and the sound of the light lulls you to sleep. I would definitely stay again even if William (the ghost) kept opening our bathroom door :)...More

Wish we had known that there was an Inn here ... they even have a couple of rooms right in the tower of the lighthouse! Would have been amazing! You can climb to the top of this lighthouse ... tricky and steep stairs, but well...More

Hi, I am afraid that I will have to agree with Jonathan. PEI is bigger than you think, and you will need to rent a car to get most places. Charlotte town is great to explore, with lots to see and do. You can check local... More
