Happened upon this park during an ‘exploring’ drive along US 12, and was instantly in love with it! Can’t wait to go back and spend more time :)

So glad we visited this park! We walked on all the trails and on the canopy walk. Just beautiful! Saw lots of birds, squirrels and chipmunks. It’s a very well taken care of area. Highly recommend!

Did a nice hike through this preserve. Nicely laid out paths are open and clear. Elevated paths and overview making looking at the preserve from a diffferent perspective. Worth the trip. Family friendly and can use strollers although may need to backtrack a bit since...More

We were visiting Michigan City and I somehow came across this place. We decided to make the short (15-20 minute) drive. I’m glad we did! The walking paths for both the marsh and tree canopy views weren’t very long, but the views were great and...More

We saw the bridge-overlook while kayaking the Galien River and then went on a mission to find the source. Nice hike out to fabulous view.

I believe they close in winter due to icy walks and high snow. There’s a sign at the gate of the canopy walk that notes seasonal closing.
