The best time to head to Goult is on it's market day. They have a pleasant market and you can wander up the narrow, curved streets to the windmill. This is a unique place with some great views and terrific photo opportunity.

At the top of the village, this is worth the walk. There is informational displays available. In addition, you can get an up close view of the 12th century ramparts. Very cool, and a good view of the surrounding valley.

At the high point of Goult the windmill is a great place to head for when walking through the village. This old style windmill was interesting to non-French like ourselves and there are also great views over the surrounding area from here.

Lovely walk up quiet streets capped off by the windmill. The windmill is nice but the views from the top are stunning and absolutely worth the stroll through town
