We climbed Kala Patthar end of March at about 1pm. It was difficult going with the altitude but not as bad as other mountains we climbed. The views are amazing from the top with Everest clearly visible and the Khumbu icefall. Definitely recommend doing this.

Start early to get the stunning view of Everest with the sunrise from this point is amazing. It is uphill walk and slow at this altitude but really worth climbing. Spending half an hour would give you everything. It is Phenomenal spiritual and exuberant experience

Next day trek was also difficult in snow fall for 3rd time to reach Lobuche(4910m). Climbing over boulders and crossing glacial streams. At the top of the hill, there are numerous memorials and mani wheels for climbers who’ve lost their lives on Everest. Now started...More

Don't miss this even if you have made it to the Basecamp. Well worth it! Leave early, but not too early. We got to the summit before the sunrise. It was freezing cold. Then the sun peaks out behind Mt Everest. All of sudden, you...More
