Visited this monastery with the help of Himalayan Trekking Team who were organised and helpful beyond expectation. Photographs of the interior are not permitted. It is exquisitely beautiful, light being filtered from a skylight through intricate draped curtains hanging from the roof 15 meters above

When i went there although many gompa were under construction but you still can see a very beautiful lifestyle, culture, hills and mountains and beauty of mother nature. I strongly suggest you to have some plans and visit Upper mustang once in a life time...More

Essential to visit this monastery built in late 15th century. Marvelous ceiling and paintings on the wall.

In Lo-Manthang each and every places are important , Thubchen Gompa , one of them , old wood carving , thankags and daily puja is don't miss programs of Lo-manthang trips .
