The pinacle is nice enough but even better is standing on top of the waterfall and looking down to all the tree ferns.

Having to drive around the panaroma road and enjoying the gods window view with a little bit of mist there. best experience ever plus it was my birthday weekend and having to spend some nights at bergdale cottages was really the best feeling ,with my girlfriend on my side. I would visit mpumalang at anytime with her.

Doesn't look much from the road but recommend pay the entrance fee and explore. Note not good for those not used to walking a bit! Great views on a good day and the pinnacle is certainly different. Staff very hospitable and curio sellers a delight.

Reasonable entrance fee and clean and tidy facilities. The view is beautiful and there are unique rock structures with lots of space for hiking. Bathrooms just need more attention as the one handle was broken and I was trapped inside for a while before passers-by came to save me.

This is the great place to start because it settled the tone for how the rest of the paramont route would be.

Didn’t know what to expect before we arrived but are glad we included this on the itinerary. Total time needed ro this is 15-20 minutes, depending on how much time you want to look at it and the surrounding landscape.

Entrance was R20. It's a short walk to the viewpoint BUT if you want to get a different view of the rock AND see the waterfall, you need to walk over to the opposite side by the rocks. It's worth it but a lot of people weren't doing it. There are ablutions here but not very clean.
