Well worth the stop. Short trail walk, although some parts are often muddy and you have to walk on planks.

While visiting my parents we decided to do a waterfall tour. We stopped at Bond Falls, Agate Falls and Canyon Falls. Each falls had something different. Canyon Falls was the longest walk but worth it. The girls loved walking through the woods. There are some...More

Canyon Falls was a delightful surprise for me. My friends from the "UP" recommended that we go there having been there before and I could see why. The trail to the falls was very nice, not too long and full of really nice views. The...More

This is simply a lovely place to walk. I do think that some parts of the trail would be a problem for folks with mobility issues. It takes about 15-20 minutes walking to get to the "cool stuff'. It's a lovely set of falls. I...More

We stopped at the rest area right after driving across the bridge over a pretty river. The sign said, Canyon Falls. We thought, why not stretch our legs and check it out. It was amazing. The trail was well maintained. You walked along the river...More

We saw the sign for this waterfall as we were traveling through the area. We actually did a u-turn to go back and check it out. It looks like just a rest stop, but there is a short trail that leads to this peaceful fall.

Sometimes a roadside stop is so much more than a place to stretch your legs. Not far south of L'Anse is this beautiful hidden gem. A lovely walk through the mossy woods, with old intertwined, knotted trees, you see small falls. Following them a little...More

Free. A fun and picturesque hike alongside the gorge to view the Falls and the narrow canyon through the forest. Small children and older folks can probably go part of the way, but everyone should take care. The trail could be better marked and it...More

This was worth the drive from lower Michigan! You could spend half a day here. The restrooms are basically porta johns so don't expect flushing toilets and running water. The trail is rough in parts with uneven boards and mud. Wear your hiking shoes here....More

I have visited Canyon Falls in Summer and Winter and I am not sure which was prettier.... The walk is great, we used snow shoes in the Winter and in Spring had our runners on and cooled off in the beautiful water....
