A nice place to have a picnic for two. I have always found it to be quiet, not a lot of people and clean. However, I have only visited through the weekday mornings.

Small State Park that is cozy and on the waterfront. The company picnic was held there twice. Nice place for it. The weather seem to be just right each time. Never too hot.

The park has Milliken State Park Lighthouse which is nice to see, and there is a path you can take to walk up to it. The park, also, has a beautiful view of the Detroit River.

This is a must do for people who like to walk and be outside. The Jazz Fest just happened to be going on at the same time. And the Detroit Princess was docked.
