This is an easy attraction along the Riverwalk. Do take it the educational learning stations along the way. While not as much of a greenbelt as the Canadians across the river, the effort to educate regarding the sensitive ecological balance that must be maintained by...More

This park along with river walk offers stunning views on both sides of the river. There are lots of benches and lounge chairs to rest during the walk. This park has a beautiful aquatic themed carousel and an enormous sand pit for fun.

This pretty little park has stunning views of the city. Don't miss the posters and plaques with moving stories and facts about early settlers and immigrants, and their notable contributions to Detroit's development.

This was a really beautiful part of Detroit. I was in town on business and had a bit of worry that Detroit was not going to be a place worth much. Sorry D, it's the propaganda. But, walking along the waterfront was so beautiful and...More

A nice place to have a picnic for two. I have always found it to be quiet, not a lot of people and clean. However, I have only visited through the weekday mornings.

This place is lovely when you try to escape busy city life and just want to go for a walk wit a view. There is a parking lot for free parking.

Small State Park that is cozy and on the waterfront. The company picnic was held there twice. Nice place for it. The weather seem to be just right each time. Never too hot.

The park has Milliken State Park Lighthouse which is nice to see, and there is a path you can take to walk up to it. The park, also, has a beautiful view of the Detroit River.
