Love the Dte trail so much better than the washed out and rocky poto hope it stays this way for a very long time the new trail adds some more advanced riding options to challenger yourself as well

Definitely the best engineered single track I have been on. Nice flow, nice climbs and just enough descents. Plus none of those trees that you clip on the turns when you get tired.

DTE Energy Trail now has two loops: Green and Big Kame. Green is a fast, flowy, fun loop for riders of all skill levels including beginners. Big Kame still flows but adds a lot of elevation change and technically challenge terrain for more advanced riders.

The DTE Trail is the first in a series of new trails being built in the area and is specifically designed to be a beginner trail. As such, there are no big/hard/difficult climbs though there are some stretches of gradual uphill which may be tiring...More
