Always a venue of choice - great food and friendly staff. Good choice on specials board. Odd that they are still using their Spring menu in September but quirky I guess. We'll be back!

Good local fodder very charmingly served. Sunday lunch was good value and roast lamb was spot on. Good bitter and generous sized v&t.

The food was good but the service was very slow. We were a party of 10 and had to wait over a hour for our meal.

Have only been for drinks so far but the pub is beautifully decorated and looks as though it will be as enjoyable to visit as the Five Bells. Lovely to see a proper country pub with such individuality when surrounded by so many characterless chain...More
