At low tide we wade through the back part of the Pamet river. It is lush with vegetation and sea life, and children love to watch the baby crabs along thecway.

While on vacation, we decided to visit the Pamet River. It was beautiful. There is a fish peer here, and a small harbor. This place is very picturesque with an excellent view of the channel which empties into the bay.

It takes a little exploration off the beaten path but you see a mostly natural area with some nice photo ops. Charter boats are available from the harbor area too. Very tranquil and a pleasant quick visit.
