Long drives can be tiring! Very glad you not only enjoyed the Norman Rockwell Museum, but were able to take in some other Berkshire County offerings, as well.

Small museum mostly dedicated to illustrator Norman Rockwell. Enjoyed seeing so many of his artworks well-displayed. Other book illustrators were spotlighted, some from approximate time of early Rockwell and some contemporary to today. Beautiful children’s book illustrators and their books were highlighted in a gallery....More

If this was your first visit, we'd love to have you visit us again when the weather is warmer, the cafe and studio are open, and the views out over the river and fields are gorgeous with greenery!

The Rockwell Museum, Stockbridge, MA, has a good art collection, and, but for our tour guide/docent, it would have been just another nice museum. However, we took the free tour, and our docent, Dan, really made the story and history of Norman Rockwell, his family,...More

We hope you can find the time to come back for another visit. Our special exhibits will change in time, and we sometimes switch out Norman Rockwell's paintings for others of his in our collection. If you come in warmer weather, the studio will be...More

We thought it would be a nice couple of hours, but we could have spent many hours looking and learning and appreciating Rockwell's genius. Great guided tour commentary given by a very experienced local with firsthand knowledge of some of those pictured in the pieces....More
