The ticket seller couldn't answer my first question as he said he was Catholic and it was a question about the antique bible next to him??? If this is Methodist camp history site, that doesn't make a lot of sense. Honestly, I was curious about...More

We walked through the house, which was surprisingly larger that it looks, but the true experience was talking to the lady about the house and camp. Her stories gave a true picture of the camp. Especially President Grants experience!

Very nice museum inside a typical cottage house from the area. There's a docent in the house that will explain the history of the cottages so you understand why they were initially built. There's a small fee for admission.

The museum is a cottage is has been converted to a museum and is filled with items from 1880s. I liked seeing how these cottages were made 150 years ago. I parked near the Oak Bluffs Library on School road and walked to the museum.

Surrounded by all these magnificent Victorian cottages, one wonders what they are like inside. This museum provides a first floor peek into the interior room size, as well as how the rooms were originally furnished. Very well done and worth a look.

This was the best part of my stay in MV. I learned so much about the local history. I highly recommend this museum. The price is reasonable and the staff is very welcoming. Check it out.
