If for no other reason to go see the movie. Extremely well done. What a great way to grasp what took place in 1775 leading up to the declaration of independence. We started in Lexington and this just tied together the pieces. The rangers on...More

We visited the Minuteman Visitor Center (Lexinton) after visiting Concord sites and were extremely impressed with the 20+ minute unique presentation they provided. Covered the history of April 1775 in a very unique and thought provoking way. My wife and i said this was one...More

It's a five minute walk - a charming walk - from the parking lot to the visitor center. It's hard to fathom that the first real battle of the Revolutionary War took place in those woods as the militia battled the British regulars. The 20...More

This trip to the Battle Road area was a highlight of our weeklong trip to Boston. For starters, the volunteer monitoring the interpretive movie made room for the 3 of us at the last minute. We got the last 3 seats in the theatre! The...More

Happened upon this place by chance actually. My teenage daughter really enjoyed the exhibits and the super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Any time my teen and I both enjoy a historical exhibit, I know it was a great place.

Go here first! Loads of information. Clean inside, nice layout. Theatre shows introduction to the battle. We were there on a Saturday. Easy parking. At 1:00 there was a fife and drum band march that ends at the bleachers.

Great descriptions of the battles and the people who brought you the April morning in 1775. It remains rural and protected, and it's easy to envision what the minutemen and locals went through. Excellent hiking trails, and informative signage, displays and video. Great overview for...More

This is a great place to start your Lexington/Concord history lesson and decide what interests you the most for further exploration. It sums up April 19th clearly and without being too gory. It is a presentation for all ages. I am a local and always...More
