Well-constructed if rather short walk. Two sections along the river. Nice shady stroll (15min) before returning to town.

The River Walk is in two components, connected by a walk along a roadway. There are spacious parking lots at either end. As others have noted, this is a VERY short walk. If you are in Great Barrington for another reason, check it out, but...More

Nice, short, and easy walk along the river. We never would have known it was there if we didn't stop by the local Rite-Aid and stumble onto it.

As long as you remember that mosquitoes like water too. After walking around town and getting ice cream we enjoyed the peacefulness.

The short river walk was pleasant. I wish it was longer. It's about a 10-minute walk. It's something to do while waiting for a table at a local restaurant.

We were in Great Barrington for the day and took a leisurely stroll on the Housatonic River Walk, which was well-maintained, and was an easy walk along the river.

Short and unexpectedly scenic walk, because this riverwalk was hidden off the Main Street in town. Beautiful view of the river.

Pleasant but short walk that parallels the main street of the Great Barrington business district. The area is quite isolated so I wouldn't recommend going alone or after dusk.
