About
Right off I-95 at exit 89 (less than a minute)-just went to a wine tasting there. Beautiful views of the Susquehanna River and vineyard. All wines designed with the history of the town or the house/vineyard itself. Wonderful hospitality. Perfect break from I-95 traffic. Has signs on the highway.

Great place to buy a cold, tasty bottle of wine, sit under the tree, and enjoy the view, which stretches to the bay. We recommend a tasting of the wines to figure out what you'd like to buy. Pleasant and helpful staff. And, if you're so inclined, you can buy a bucket of golf balls and drive them into the field. But it was very nice to just sit and relax for a while. When the weather's not cooperative, there's a comfortable area to sit inside as well. They occasionally have events featuring music; so be sure to check their website to see what's coming up.
The "facilities" consist of a line of port-a-potties, but they were surprisingly unobjectionable.

As far as tasting goes it is reasonably priced but don't like the plastic cup experience. As far as tasting room/patio seating area it lacks personality and comfort. As far as wine goes they are fine and have a great variety to choose. The view is nice!

Mount Felis Vineyards is based in a 1830s estate with great views of the Chesapeake Bay. Signage at the entrance on the main road is very minimal, and I have missed finding and visiting the place twice. Fortunately on this beautiful spring day I paid very close attention and turned on the farm lane at the right time. The property is surrounded by dairy farms, so one is first greeted by friendly cows. Parking is plentiful as is seating on terraces surrounding in main house and tasting room. I tried a flight of the 5 dry wines, one chardonnay, one rose and three red blends all were pleasant, though wines in this part of Maryland have a sort of earthy quality. I bought the rose and two of the reds to take home. The owner and server were friendly and helpful with history and explanations of their processes. Snacks like chips can be bought, but some of the small groups seated outside had brought food for a sort of picnic. Next time I will definitely remember the road.

Unfortunately, because of the lack of signs we went to the private house where noone answered to give assistance. We finally found the winery flag sign and drive our car down road but there was no parking down by the tasting room, which says it was opened but it didn't look open or inviting so we left.

Nice, new tasting room. However, poor signage as it looks like you should go to the house. Beautiful atmosphere. Friendly service for the most part, but did get a little defensive when I asked about a wine that was out of stock, but said "in stock" online. Wine is average. Decent port and fruit wines for Maryland.

We happened upon this fabulous little place completely by accident. The wines were delicious, but what really made the visit exceptional was the staff. The 2 ladies who did our tasting were friendly, helpful, and filled with enthusiasm. You could tell they really love what they do! We loved the stories behind each wine. This was exactly the kind of winery experience we look for..."down home", relaxed, and welcoming. We will definitely be back.

My husband and I went to a wine tasting today around one. We had the place and the hostess Bella all to ourselves. She said that Wed was the slowest day. We chose to taste the dry wines and bought bottles of all the reds. Clever packaging of the wines and two cute wine glasses come with the tasting. You can also do sweet or a combination. At this time, we could not tour the vineyards as property is under renovations. The hostess was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Only a ten minute drive from Havre de Grace.

My wife and I stopped by mid week and had the tasting room to ourselves for a good part of the visit. Tasty local wines- both dry and sweet. We also bought a cheese plate late included cheese from a local farm. That was a special treat.
