We had a really nice time. I would recommend the lunch option and bike back from Frostburg. We only rode the train both ways but in the future, we are going to bike back down the mountain. The ride was lovely and the scenery beautiful....More

Cumberland is so beautiful and the train is amazing, So worth the money, I just bought the basic ride ticket to Frostburg and back.Lots to do in walking distance, wonderful restaurants in the area too,,

Yes, The prices jump. We did the dining car and had the whole car to share with three other couples. Had window seats and no one jumping around. Plus it was much quieter.The food was good, too. Not more weekday excursions... More

There really are no ‘bad’ seats. The actors walk both dining cars. Also for the daylight portion of the trip, the cars are small enough that aisle seats still have great views.
