Very fun quick stop to kill some time with our 7 yo. There are nice little walking/hiking trails around the water as well. We loved watching the tide go in and out!

The Wiggly Bridge really is just that! I love the trail in the woods on the other side of the bridge... a nice quaint spot to exercise or just meander.

Stopped off at the distillery then needed to see the origin of its name. It was nice to get out and take a little walk.

Walking along the concrete walkway, then to the short walk on the wiggly bridge we ended up on an island. The island was fun to walk around and explore the wildlife.

Lovely walk across Wiggly Bridge over pond and York River, continuing through the beautiful woods. Perfect calming "escape" just a few minutes from town.

You can get a permit at the town hall that is also good for many other beaches but it costs $40.00 so it is only worth getting if you are local or staying all summer because the permits only last one day year.
