There is a lot of construction going on nearby but this will make going to the area much easier and more accessible in the future. Always fun to watch the kids jumping off the bridge into the York River. It was such a beautiful day...More

We enjoyed the stroll over the bridge and through the woods. We even spotted an eagle on our trip. There was a trail that also went alongside the river back along the older homes back towards York Harbor that we enjoyed. The parking was under...More

It was a bright, sunny and warm day and we walked this path and followed it under the bridge to the fisherman's walk. Nothing out of the ordinary, but for us it was just nice to see something different. Plenty of nice water views.

You will miss it if you don’t watch not well marked. Some parking but we ended up parking on the side of the road and walked over small bridge ... wiggles cute little space. Didn’t walk island areas as rain was coming in. On the...More

This is a good walking trail but forget about swimming anymore. Some group of people don’t like people swimming in the area and put small stakes all over the beach area. They have also ripped off entrances to prevent people from swimming or sitting there....More

This is a local favorite and even has a distillery named after it now. Great walk across the water where there is a meeting of the river and the pond. We have been taking our kids to walk across the bridge for years. Parking can...More

Do take a hike over this bridge and into the woods (to grandma's house...). It's a very lovely quite walk. Water views are nice and you can cross the bridge from either side of the road. Enjoy.

That's what they say, anyway. One on side of it is the York River, and on the other side is a pond that's been around for a few hundred years. Interesting history, look it up. Anyway, the bridge can be seen off to the side...More

You can get a permit at the town hall that is also good for many other beaches but it costs $40.00 so it is only worth getting if you are local or staying all summer because the permits only last one day year.
