I love this beach and the fact that you walk on the quaint footbridge over the river to get to it. It's not as crowded as the main beach, and its size is just right. Just bring your own food and drink, although there's a...More

The beach is clean and spacious. Perfect for families, couples, individuals - basically everyone! We enjoyed searching the tidal pools for shells and sea life. We found snails and clams! The footbridge is easy to navigate and it is fun to watch people trying to...More

Footbridge Beach is great....long stretch of soft sand....easy to walk to over the dunes. Great crabbing in the estuary on the way!

The beach was beautiful and very clean. There is no shop or restaurant around so bring your own food.

Go to Maine a lot, but this year we found footbridge beach. What a nice clean beach, soft sand, easy access. Park car , for a fee, walk across bridge and right onto the beach. Restroom available. Next year we will be back!

We usually visit during the fall and stayed a very short walk from here. It's beautiful and it was so nice to be back.

This beach was wonderful. It wasn’t crowded with plenty of space to hang out for the day. As is the case with all area beaches, parking is outrageous. The only drawback to this beach is there aren’t sprinklers to rinse off feet.
