This isn’t a safe place to hike. Dissapointing. We drove the hour (through construction) down to Quoddy Head.

Enjoyed a lovely picnic in the brand new pavilion. Charcoal BBQs to use if you bring your own charcoal. Nice view of the cove.

This was a really lovely hike, great views of the Cobscook Bay. Avoid the blue trail, that is still infested with the Newfoundland fire ants.

This looked like a good place to hike til we saw the FIRE ANTS sign. Having already been bitten the day before we turned around & left immediately. Too bad. Not sure if the ants are a seasonal thing but there is a permanent sign.

Takes about an hour to go around the trail. Beautiful scenery, not difficult. We saw a seal in the water, and lots of birds.
