This swamp tour surpassed all my expectations. Our tour guide Desi (or Dezi not sure how to spell) was very knowledgeable about all of the wildlife and plants. The entire tour was like having a wildlife conservation officer with us and we learned so many interesting things. The swamp itself is breathtaking and being there was very special. There really werent any bugs bothering us (huge bonus because we were panicking about that) and the boat itself felt very safe and we didnt get wet during the trip at all. It was really fun and we would definitely want to do this tour again.

Great interactive experience led by Captain Hal. We got to get up close to the Gators and saw a lot of biological diversity. Dwayne our driver was also very professional.

The night swamp tour with Capt. JD was amazing! The flowing conversation of history, flora and fauna, and of course, lots and lots of alligators was an experience of a lifetime. I just can't say enough good things. Everywhere you look, those spotlighted, red-eyed alligators are watching. No need to feed the alligators, as our Capt showed us - you just need to wiggle your fingers in the water to attract a large (8-10 foot alligator). I was shocked at how quickly the alligators jump out of the water and how high they jump. JD still had all of his fingers as of my July tour. I kept my hands on the inside the boat railing the entire trip. Tip: Wear lots and lots of bug spray because the the night boat must have driven through more webs than I've never seen before and spiders were everywhere. This was also my first experience with palm sized spiders (not on the boat, but more than close enough to hop on. Not trying to scare you off. Just saying...a little bug spray will make you a lot safer. I didn't get a photo of the bite on my hand, but it was a marble sized welt. Our driver, Bam-Bam (Larry), was a wonderful narrator of the many sights along the way, had a wonderful attitude and personality that smiled from the inside out.
