I have learned a lot about the Acadian history thanks to this museum. It is free but well done. The staff is friendly. The video presents is a quick summary of the history of the Acadian people; which I find very sad.

Very informative and attractively displayed photos and artifacts. Large displays that detail all aspects of Acadian life. The film is a must see which clearly and dramatically tells the story of the Arcadian diaspora.

We learned lots about the people here and the hardships they faced... The intro movie was excellent, but maybe too grim for little kids. Nevertheless this visitor center is a must stop.

Stop by to see the movie. It is very informative. Gives a good overview of the start of Acadian life in the area. The little museum is nicely displayed and easy to see.

The park officers were very helpful and educated on the Acadian Culture, we enjoyed the movie, the artifacts and history. We purchased an authentic Cajun cookbook and was very impressed with the entire experience.

The movie was great and the museum was very well done...a nice blend of the written word and pictures, in color and black and white and a lot of 3 dimension...
