Had a great guide. Woodford shows parts of process that was not shown at another distillery. The tasting lead by guide was interesting and gets you to understand the complex favors that are there. Best tour I went on.

Of the many I visited on this trip, Woodford Reserve had the best tour and guide. He was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic, and he gave personal information. Gorgeous surrounding area. Tasting was good and well led. Very enjoyable stop!

Traveled to Woodford Reserve from Louisville (about 1.25 hours drive.) The Reserve is located on beautiful grounds. We had a very informative and fun tour of the complex and bourbon making process. Then we enjoyed a wonderful bourbon tasting/sampling.

Tucked back in the Bluegrass hills, bubbling brook nearby, prominent horse farms surround the perfect setting for one of the smoothest brands of bourbon. Don't shy away from tasting the brewer's beer; not on your finger as some distillers encourage but on your own wooden...More

We paid $10 per person for a tasting. No tour. It was easy and we paid the day we arrived.
