We visited on a Saturday lunchtime and were immediately given a warm welcome. There's a decent range of real ales on offer and I went for F.A.B., an excellent guest bitter. I also had a very good beef and onion cob.

There is an open fire and it is so nice to see an old fashioned pub like this that is still surviving through wet sales!

Serves a good range of real ales and ciders. Good choice of draught lagers on tap also. Can be busy at times especially when the sun is out at weekends. Welcoming fire in the winter. Can lack atmosphere at times but so can all pubs.
