We made begin of January a two week trip in South Africa,and James was our guide and driver.
James is a fantastic driver and he knows a lot to tell about the nature and culture of South Africa.
His English tongue is top!
He was a man of the clock and told us about good restaurants and sometime he made reservations.
He made every day a surprising day.
We had a fantastic stay;with a lot of thanks for James.

We were lucky enough to have James guide us for four fantastic days during our stay in Cape Town, visiting various magical places including Table Mountain, Cape Point, Hermanus and Franschoek. His considerable knowledge, sense of humour, reliability and lovely, calm demeanour really added to our stay and we will definitely be asking him to guide us again on our next visit to the beautiful Cape. Thank you so much James!

We spent a full day with James who helped us a lot understanding the culture and seeing beautiful places.
Not only is James a highly professional guide ( with a great and bright knowledge on many different topics), but also a very nice and polite person, showing a lot of respect to his customers.
We can for sure recommend James to anybody wishing to know more about the region.

Cape Medley Tours offer a top class service. We have used them on more than one occasion and will not hesitate to do so again in the future. They are professional and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. I also love their newsletters - I get hundreds of mail but always find time to read the CMT news.

James Parrington was our guide and driver from October 18,2019-November 5,2019 on our tour from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth.We can absolutely recommend James:he is reliable,friendly,flexible,has a great knowledge of SA and is a safe driver.He has just one goal and that’s is to make your holidays in alle respects unforgettable.Niek & Heike Zaman

We only had a 2 full days in Cape Town and 1.5 days in Franschhoek. From the minute James met us from our flight, to the minute he returned us for our return flight our time in Cape Town and surrounds was relaxing, informative and adaptable.
You cannot visit this area without someone like James. Every question was answered with his astounding local knowledge, we were driven to areas we had no idea existed and even shared a coffee in the cafe voted ‘best coffee in the world’. Who would have known?
We intend to return to South Africa with our extended family simply because Cape Medley Tours will advise, book accommodation etc where required and we wouldn’t do it again without James.

I think if I had to pick one word to describe the experience we had with Cape Medley Tours and Travel it would be "exceptional"! From contacting James, to the itinerary he developed through to arrival and throughout it has been simple, easy, flexible and customised. Knowing we were only going to be in the Cape Town area for a couple of days and with an attitude to see and do as much as possible James developed a fantastic itinerary that showed us so much of South Africa's beauty, history and culture. I can strongly recommend James and Cape Medley Tours and Travel to anyone who reads this and have encouraged friends and family to look no further when booking a trip to Cape Town. I plan to visit South Africa again and my first step will be to contact James. The skills, knowledge and passion he has for South Africa is again EXCEPTIONAL.

We were arriving for our first visit to this city and country at noon. We needed someone to pick us up, transfer to our Inn, and give us an overview of the area, and fit in some photography. Ericka met us as we exited immigration, took us to her vehicle, and while driving to our lodge, began an interesting and informative overview of the city and country. Native born, she could answer any question.
We then visited Boulder National Park and a wonderful photography opportunity with the penguins and many other birds present. She was prepared to continue with other sights, but we were pooped after 48 hours of travel. A quick stop at a grocery and ATM, and she returned us to our lodge, carrying our purchases up to our room.
Super start to what we hoped to be a wonderful tour of this part of the world.
We then visited Boulder National Park and a wonderful photography opportunity with the penguins and many other birds present. She was prepared to continue with other sights, but we were pooped after 48 hours of travel. A warm (well know) referral from Holland introduced us to James. Despite the short term James was more than polite in vinding a way to guide us to Stellenbosch. This was the last day of our 21-days self-prepared journey through South Africa.
A lot of questions unanswerred about South-Africa James connected the dots and also created a wonderful day in Stellenbosch and this beautiful country.
Next time we definitely engage James in our traveling plans. Thank you again for the great support and wonderful insights.

James Parrington took my friend and I around Cape Town and the Garden Route. His punctuality was impeccable as was his driving. He was very informative and as two middle aged ladies we felt very safe with him. We would highly recommend James.
