We enjoyed wonderful food and service at The Royal Oak in August 2017. The burger and fish were superbly cooked and we thank the whole team for their efforts! Will return for sure when in the area.

We had a wonderful time in this pub yesterday, great beer tasting, amusing and charming Annie Tempest prints to admire and on sale all around the room. The rugby was on too! Everybody happy!

As soon as we walked through the door we were made to feel welcome. There was a good mix of people drinking and those who wanted to eat. Roll on the summer so we can sit outside as there is a lovely view.

Hi. I don't know if he was a bar man or a waiter or whatever but either way, he was behind the bar, in uniform and was a man.
