Overview
More
A restored and operational water mill. This historical building is open every Sunday afternoon 1-5pm from March to 26th October (BST). A tour of the mill lasts around 40 minutes and takes you on a victorian journey, from the arrival of the wheat to the sacking of the flour. On the way you will be able to operate the 200 year old machinery and even start up the ten ton water wheel. We also have a tea room and beautiful wildlife rich grounds, as well as a fantastic dipping pond.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The volunteers were super and clearly enjoy their work. The tea and scones were great! Excellent tour from Peter - we've never seen such an in depth, hands-on explanation of how a mill works. Highly recommended
