The Putnam is a place where people connect with history and ideas by doing, making and experiencing. Our classes and special events are a great complement to our hands-on exhibit galleries. There is always something new to discover and something for everyone at the Putnam.

We take our school age grandchildren there about once a year. There are numerous hands on exhibits for them and traveling exhibits like King Tut (extra cost) that are better for the Middle School age. We usually pair the exhibits with an on-site large screen...More

2 Adults visited this museum recently. I was disappointed from the beginning, only one cashier taking tickets, had to wait 10 min, because she was busy chatting with someone else. The map given to us of exhibits, was not labeled clearly, and hard to find...More

We have no kids but my husband and I love to go and check out the museum often. We fully love the side expeditions. It is also nice to bring my nieces and nephews.
