Our group of five adults and one 4 year old had a very nice time at this museum. The hands-on science exhibits were especially fun. Unfortunately some of the exhibits weren’t working as they should and it seems like they’ve been neglected for a while....More

The 5 year old will love it but it would best be enjoyed together more one on one. There are fun hands on exhibits and exciting exhibits but he/she will get more out of it with assistance, he/she likely won’t want to leave when you are ready. I would either leave the 1 and 2 year old home or understand that your visit might be shorter as you skim through the highlights. Every year after 5 they will enjoy it more as they understand more things so it is a place you can return over and over. Also, taking all ages into consideration there are temporary exhibits to watch for that may further interest your little ones. We always watched for the dinosaurs 👍🏻
