Christmas trees in every room. My spouse had been wanting to see this historic home for years. We finally made the time and it was well worth it. What an amazing story about a very impressive man! And what a gorgeous house!

The volunteers are so friendly and informative dressed in period costumes for the Christmas season. The Christmas decorations make the Dodge House magical at Christmas. Love the period furniture and the Victorian style house. Must See.

Different Christmas tree in each room. Beautifully decorated for Christmas. Must see. $7 for people under 62 years of age. Watch the 20 minute video first in the house next door.

The city's history is tied to the railroad and westward expansion. General Dodge was a key player and a tour of his mansion is very educational. Not ideal for anyone with a disability due to stairs however.

This house is really cool to see. A lot of rooms to look at and you have access to all floors. Great woodwork and all period pieces furnish the house. Worth a visit.
