I believe this is one of the prettiest parks in Iowa, will be coming back when we can spend some time fishing and enjoying everything the park has to offer.

The park is loaded with Red Bud Trees that are in full bloom usually in April. I drove through during the full bloom and was amazed. It is a beautiful park with a large lake, camp grounds and several shelters.

I really enjoy visits to this park. My daughter ran cross country meets here and I came to know it rather well. Nice beach and always clean.

What a wonderland of pink blossoms this time of year. The Red Bud Trees are in bloom and the park is displaying all it's splendor and beauty. Drive through the park and there are plenty of photo opts so bring your camera.
